PRIVATE HIRE

If your trip is for a week (typically, Saturday to Saturday), the clothes are booked out to you for a maximum period of 13 days.  You are free to take the clothes from us anytime during opening hours from the Wednesday before your trip but we must have them back by close of business on the Tuesday after your trip.  If you are going away for less than a week then you can obtain 25% discount by having the clothes out for a maximum period of 6 days.  Otherwise you will be charged the full 7-13 day price.  For holidays of two weeks duration the amount will be 1.5 times the weekly rate (maximum days out 20).

If you have chosen to have hire goods delivered to you then items will be dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier on the Tuesday before your departure for guaranteed next day delivery.  Delivery is charged at £8.25 per order.

You are responsible for the return of the hire goods and the cost.  If sending by post/courier then proof of posting is required.  If hire items are not received back by the Wednesday after your trip you will be charged an extra 50% for the 14-20 days’ hire period.  Any item not received back 28 days after collection/despatch will be charged at the full replacement values as detailed below.

There is no need to wash or clean the clothing but please make sure to include a note of your name and address so that we know where goods have come back from.

SCHOOL OR GROUP  HIRE

Orders are delivered in bulk direct to the school/group leader on or before the Tuesday before your trip.

Each order is individually hand packed and named. A copy of your order form will be included for your reference.  You should try on the clothes to make sure they still fit.

The hired goods will be collected from the school by courier within a few days of returning from the trip.  There is no charge for this collection but all goods must be ready and packed up.

Please return your hired items to your school/group leader on the first day back after your trip so that they can comply with the time limits involved.  There is no need to wash or clean the clothing but please make sure to include a note of your name so that we know where goods have come back from.

Should you miss the school collection date you will have to post/return the goods yourself, making sure you obtain a Receipt of Posting.  Please also enclose a note stating your name and school name.

If you fail to get the hired item back to us by the end of the first week back at school after the trip an administration charge of 50% of the hire charge will be levied.  If you are ill please get someone else to return your items to school for you.

Any item not received back 28 days after collection/despatch will be charged at the full replacement values as detailed below.

EXCHANGING HIRE GOODS

Should an exchange be necessary please notify us, not the school immediately on receipt.  Please do not swap with friends unless we have been notified.

If an exchange is necessary the customer must pay for the return of the original hire goods and delivery of the replacements.  If you are ordering through our brochure the sizing chart gives accurate guidance on choosing the right size.

DAMAGE & REPAIRS TO HIRE ITEMS

Please advise us of any damage, including any temporary repairs so that we can have any item professionally repaired ready for the next user.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WAIVER (ADW)

Accidental Damage Waiver at a cost of £4 is added to all Hire Agreements unless declined by the customer.  Please be aware that it covers accidental damage to hire goods only, not damage through inappropriate use, malicious damage, loss or theft.  You should therefore check whether your travel insurance would cover you for this eventuality. 

FULL REPLACEMENT VALUES

The full replacement value of the hire items is as follows; Jacket £90, Salopettes £50, Goggles £12, Après Ski Boots £35, Ankle Protectors £12, Wrist Guards £15.

You authorise that should any hired item be returned late, be lost, stolen, not returned or damaged beyond repair an amount up to the full replacement cost as detailed above may be taken from the card used for the original payment.

If you have not paid by credit/debit card a deposit will be required and this will be returned immediately on receipt of goods on time and in satisfactory condition.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Hired goods cancelled more than four weeks before the trip will incur a 25% administration fee.  Cancellations between four weeks and two weeks before the trip will incur a 50% cancellation charge.  All items cancelled within two weeks of the trip will be subject to the full charge and no refund will be given.
